Advocacy Day 2020 was a successful event with over 30 people participating. We found wide support for our legislation (HB740 and HB742) from members of the House of Delegates Judiciary Committee. Our legislation prohibits direct release from solitary confinement (HB740/SB999) and bans solitary for people diagnosed with serious mental illness (HB742/SB1002).
